We supply customers with a lot of industrial stainless steel curtain tracks and wanted to write this article to help you select the right type of SS track for your needs.

3 Key Considerations for Stainless Steel Curtain Tracks

1. Determine if you will need the track to feature slider hooks . - These hooks are what will mount to the track and then hook into the curtain. They can be fixed, or slide back and forth to allow you to push the curtain out of the way when it is not needed. Slider hooks are the most common.

2. Let us know if the stainless steel curtain track will be used in a wash down environment . - If they are, then the curtain hardware will need to be designed accordingly. Wash down tracks are designed so that they do not capture debris which is thrown up by the power washing. Traditional curtain tracks capture material and allow bacteria to grow and debris to gather which prevents the curtains from sliding easily.

3. Will the curtains need to be portable or fixed ? - Fixed curtains of course will not be able to be moved from location to location. Portable stainless steel curtain track can be supplied with casters which will allow you to move the curtains to the area where you need them. For instance, you could push the curtains to a location where they surround a machine for a wash down. This would then of course contain the wash down debris.

We hope these 3 points have helped you do some critical thinking about your stainless steel curtain track needs.
